  1. First a word to the english readers of this document:

  3. This  release  is  mainly  thought for german speaking
  4. people  because  there  is  currently  only the german
  5. documentation  available.   The  program  itself  uses
  6. english  text but I think you need the documenation to
  7. understand what MPM does.  I hope that the translation
  8. will be done in about 3 or 4 weeks.  Please don't send
  9. any  registration  orders  for the english version and
  10. its  docs  at this time.  I will post a message to the
  11. Amiga newsgroups when english release is available.

  14. This  is the demonstration version of MPM.  MPM stands
  15. for  "Midi Performance Manager".  MPM is a utility for
  16. managing   a   heterogeneous   synthesizer-  and  Midi
  17. equipement.

  19. MPM  is  abke  to  receive  and send both standard and
  20. synthesizer  specific  Midi  data.   There are several
  21. editors in MPM do manage this.

  23. Moreover MPM offers

  25. * a Midi monitor for analysing incoming Midi data
  26.  
  27. *  a controller mixer for realtime editing of all Midi
  28. controllers
  29.  
  30. *  a  patch-bay (intelligent Midi through function) to
  31. redirect Midi data
  32.  
  33. * ARexx port
  34.  
  35. * online help with AmigaGuide
  36.  
  37. * support of the locale.library
  38.  
  39. MPM   uses   the  "midi.library".   Therefore  MPM  is
  40. compatabile  with all programs that are using the same
  41. library.

  47. Kickstart:       2.0, 2.1 oder 3.0
  48. Memory:          at least 1 MB Ram
  49. Harddrive:       not required but saves a lot of time

  55. MPM  is  shareware  and  not public domain.  This demo
  56. version is nearly full functional.  However after some
  57. time  a  nerving requester will appear to remember you
  58. that  you  have  to register.  The demo version may be
  59. copied  as  long  as  all parts of the MPM package are
  60. included and unchanged.
